Water sports are available locally, and there are several golf courses, not least of which is La Manga situated within a short drive from the villa.
The neighbouring village of Los Urrutias is 5 minutes walk away, and has a supermarket, pharmacy, bank and several restaurants and bars.
The Mar Menor is a huge salt water lagoon with very safe swimming on the local beach, plus excellent beaches in nearby Los Alcazares and Cabo de Palos.
The ancient cities of Cartagena and Murcia are only a short drive away, and both have much to offer in wonderful architecture, shops , bars and restaurants.
