Area Description:
The apartment is situated in the Spanish town of Los Acazares on the Mar Menor and approx. 5min drive from the airport of Murcia/San Havier, and approx. 45min from Alicante. A 10min stroll will take you to the long sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, several of which have the blue flag awarded by the EU. The crystal clear, warm, shallow waters are ideal for families and children.
Tapas bars, café's and restaurants can be found along the promenade for a relaxing lunch.
For the more energetic water sports such as windsurfing, kite boarding and pedalos are all available along the Mar Menor shoreline, depending on season.
La Manga can be seen from the beach and is about a 45min drive away. There are several world famous golf courses within a 20min drive, and 2 brand new courses at Rhoda and Torre del Rame within 5min.
Supermarkets, restaurants, banks and cash points can be found within a few minutes walk of the apartment. The whole area is very flat and bike hire is available close by.
