Information required in processing your booking / advertising your property We require certain information to allow us to process your accommodation booking or advertise your property. For example, we require your name, address, telephone number, email address and your credit or debit card number and expiry date. This information allows us to process your accommodation booking or setup your property listing. It also allows us to send you confirmation of your booking or listing by email or post. We require your telephone number so that we can contact you if there are any changes regarding your booking or your property listing, that we need to urgently contact you about. The personal information that you provide to us will be held on a secure server. Your debit or credit card details will be deleted from our secure banking systems as soon as: i) We have processed your property listing (property owner/manager); ii) We have received confirmation that the accommodation you wish to rent is available and we can process your payment.
When you book accommodation through i-Accommodate or list a property, your details are transmitted across the internet securely. We follow strict security procedures in the storage of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we have to request proof of identity from all individuals wishing to list a property. This is to protect ourselves, the user and property owner against fraudsters’ and internet scams.
i-Accommodate does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. However if you opt for the Basic Advertising Package your contact details will be made available on the website for all users of the website to see so they can contact you directly. If you opt for our Premium Advertising Package, your contact details will be hidden from public viewing.
